Carolina Rocker
Also known as the Carolina Rocker, the “Kennedy Rocker” was produced by
P&P Chair Company in Asheboro and acquired worldwide fame during the 1960s. President John F. Kennedy suffered from chronic back pain, and the Carolina Rocker’s frame eased his pain. Thereafter, the Carolina Rocker became known as the Kennedy Rocker.
